Pani Poori Recipe



1 packet of pani poori (50 count)

Pani Recipe

Grind the below into a smooth paste
1 cup packed mint leaves
1 cup packed cilantro leaves and thin stems
1/2 inch ginger
2-3 chillies
1 lemon
1/4 tsp salt

Add 3/4 of this paste into the below ingredients and chill in the fridge
1 3/4 liter filtered water
1 1/2 tsp regular salt
1 tsp black salt
1 tsp roasted ground cumin
4 tsp pani poori masala (Badhasha pani poori masala)
2 tbsp tamarind paste

Sweet Chutney  recipe

6 seedless dates
1 tsp tamarind paste
1 tsp jaggery powder
1 tsp succant sugar
1/4 tsp chilli powder
2 cloves
1/4 tsp roasted cumin powder
1/4 cup water
1/8 tsp salt
Boil the above ingredients for 5 min and make into a paste

Potato and Chickpea mixture

2 big potatoes
1 cup soaked chickpeas
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 of the pani paste
1/2 tsp of pani poori masala
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder

Boil the potatoes and chickpeas and combine with the rest of the ingredients.
